Personal
We lived in Loganville and then we moved to Newborn in Morgan County, to have more land for our Horses to be at home. We have lived in Georgia since 1991. The community has been a wonderful place to have our kids grow up.We were able to purchase our dream home in Newborn. The home is from the 1800's. We are busy fencing and building barns for our horses.

We are very active in the horse community. Sue set up Georgia Equine Day at the Captiol for 2005,2006,2007 and 2008. She has done the Bob Bell Hunter/Jumper Show for four years. At that show we have raised funds for charities. In 2006 we raised over $9,000 that was given to the Georgia Department of Ag. Equine Impound Program. This is very imporant to our family as we have 6 rescued horses of our own. We have been active in the Georgia Equine Rescue League. We have volunteerd at the state impound for abused horses. Our kids are both very active in FFA. Danielle has shown a dairy heferfor the last three years. She is the Vice President for the Morgan County FFA officer team. Dave is preparing to go to Southwest Techcial School. He will be doing the John Deere program. He enjoyed representing Morgan County FFA at the tractor driving competion last year. Sue has organized and started the Middle Georgia Equine Network to help all the horse people in Middle Georgia get to know each other just a little better. It does not matter the breed or discipline you have. It is all about the horses. Nice to know your neighbors when you need some quick equine help.

We enjoy the quiet of the country area and would like to help other people find their dream homes. We stay active in our church and enjoy trailrides as a family. Sue is learning to ride Dressage and was able to return to the Show Ring.Rick is working with our 4 year old PMU. She is so wonderful and growing up to be a beautiful buckskin girl. We like to know what is happening in our area so we can better represent our Community to new Buyers coming into the area.Rick is also active with the Loganville Library.

Sue has been actively working to help the Georgia Equine Industry. Besides setting up Equine Day at the Captiol she went to every meeting held about the Equine Commodity Commission. She was there the day the Govenor signed the bill making it official. She was elected to Equine Commodity Commission and was the first chair of the commission. She is very proud of the work she has done for the equine industry and will continue to help promote the Equine Industry in Georgia. She also has set up a huge email list for horse oweners from GA,TN,FL,AL,SC,NC,KY,OH and now we have people from Alaska on it. It is a great information resource and they save a few cats and dogs along the way. If you would like to be put on this list just contact Sue and you will be getting lot's of horse information.

Our family made the decision to open our home, Big Dreams Farms, to families, home school students and anyone wishing to enjoy a day on the farm to learn what it takes to run a horse farm. We are proud of the job we have done with the differnt rescues and look to educate and inform the public on this issue.

So as you can see THE VETSCH TEAM does not just sell horse farms we are there long after the sale !!!
